I don't think Boykins is currently under contract.

I have yet to see a report that Altanta is in the Dwight sweepstakes. Every time I have seen their name, it has been solely speculation.

We know for a fact that the Rockets and Nets are both interested in getting Howard. I can't say that about Atlanta. Big difference.

I've been critical of Morey for not having a direction for a while now, but I think we have to give him credit in this case. It appears that he's blown the team up as constructed and we'll just go completely young ( I think he's a little late but I like the direction). Chances are we won't get Dwight and will have to start from scratch but that's fine by me, because there's nowhere to go but up. You have to go back to go forward, its just the way the NBA rules are setup.

Did none of you watch Knick games last season? Toney Douglas is one of the worst players in the NBA. Not rotation material.

Why should there be more? LMAO you already got two 2nd round picks for essentially an expiring contract last season, and you still want more?

Actually Douglas was horrible all season last year. To some extent, he sucked the year before last too.

To some extent, your mom wants to bang me.

Do you see the ludicrousness in that statement? Adding that phrase to beginning justifies any point you can make.

What I meant to convey was that while Douglas had a better year the year before last, it was still a bad year especially on a D'antoni team. From the games I've seen him play (dad is a Knicks fan), he's a chucker and is really bad at getting the ball in the post. He stinks.

We got him for free so I'm okay with it though. I just wish that if we do sign Machado or Ish Smith again, Douglas wont be the default starting point guard by virtue of experience and have them compete for the spots.

    What's not to get?

Camby was not going to be retained by a Rockets team that was either (a) rebuilding or (b) trading for a star center and has a sizeable offer sheet out to another center.

Also, due to the massive size of Camby's cap hold ($16.6M), the Rockets would have had to renounce their rights to him by today (July 11) anyway in order to utilize their cap room.

Rather than lose Camby for nothing, the Rockets got two second round picks, a serviceable backup guard (Douglas), two non-guaranteed contracts (Jordan, Harrellson) and $2 million cash.

Seems like a pretty nice haul given the alternative (getting nothing).
