Guess Morey wanted to keep his record of making a trade at every trade deadline...smh

Really sad to see AB go. He's always been a fan favorite since the Yao days. That being said, I really am happy for him and hope he gets much more playing time behind Lawson.

Rockets reserves Francisco Garcia and Aaron Brooks both have the sort of contracts that prevents either from being traded without their consent. Both said the team has not presented them with a trade to consider. Brooks especially could probably find more consistent playing time elsewhere, but chose to play as a backup with the Rockets.

“This is the only year I’m not worried about the trade deadline,” Brooks said. “I’m cool (in Houston). I’m happy. It’s a good situation. I made that decision (to choose the Rockets over opportunities to get more playing time.) I’m happy in Houston.”

why do you say that

 

I think the fact that Woj has reported it means that Brooks has already approved the trade.

 

Look at his FT%. Should fit right in...

Can Hamilton play any defense?

 

I knew we had a deal coming; we had a deadline deal every year in Morey's tenure

 

If true, this sucks, AB was a consummate professional, never complained and was always available in a NY minute....and he was our best 3pt shooter.

I am hurt to hear that. Brooks was underrated, and valuable to us. I admit I don't know much about Hamilton, his 37 3 point shooting percentage seems pretty good, but he is a 50 percent FT shooter. Can he defend, and is he is athletic enough?

 

He's not a SG.
