Is it possible for the rockets to do a S and T with the clippers, where as the clippers take back ryan anderson, , plus a future 1st pick and get a contract like 3-4 years for Griffin. Then trade Ariza + Beverely for salary dumps. Sign Ibaka and Rudy Gay + Tony allen. C - IBAKA - Nene PF - GRIFFIN SF - Gay SG Tony Allen PG Harden PG- Gordon SG- SF - Lou Williams C- Capela PF - M Harrel SF - DEKKER This team looks sharp on paper...
Any deal involving us getting Ibaka, Griffin, and Gay involves us losing Lou, Anderson, Bev, Gordon, and probably Cappela.
3 out 5 sent Capela to the bench , ibaka is better, Rudy coming off that injury aint going to get alot of money, i see him easy to sign to join a good team. I dont think clipps want to give griffin a big pay day with his injury history, might as well take another injury prone player for less .lol
Except D'Antoni hates Harrell and Dekker. I doubt either is on the roster by the time the season starts.
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/246572/Paul-Millsap-Has-Discussed-Sign-And-Trade-With-Hawks Nothing ground breaking but at least Millsap is willing to do a Sign and Trade
If they keep Aldridge and sign Lowry then Kawhi will have to score 80+ every night in the playoffs to make up for the no shows those two will throw out
I will be kinda surprised if Lowry goes to the Spurs. He's a guy who always has had problems with coaches and now going to go play for Pop? hmmm..and for less money too.
Plot twist: Morey does a sign and trade for Lowry, insists you can never have too many ball handlers. Ariza, Paul, Lowry, Harden, and Capela make up starting lineup wherein the guy who gets the rebound plays point guard, and on defense the strategy is to switch everything and go for every steal.
I get the Hawks wanting to do a Millsap sign and trade. I'm not 100% sold on them wanting Ryan Anderson though? I mean.. maybe?? They have a ton of cap space, and don't seem to have FAs banging on their door. Frankly, I have no clue what they're trying to do... without Millsap the only player they have left of any value is Schroeder... and I guess Bazemore is ok. But seems like without Millsap they should be in a full rebuild... in which case one can only assume they'd want the same thing as the Pacers... young assets/picks.
I'm sure they want him but his contract is terrible for his play and stats. Millsap and him are literally being paid the same amount and compare big Anderson to Millsap is like comparing apples to oranges
