Why are you guys so worried about who is going to play. Here is the scoop. When we are fully healthy, every player is going to go back to the role they been playing, only difference is that Mike might have to play a 10th man to keep people happy. It's a possibility that Nene will get to sit more games as we start nursing him for the playoffs and Wright will move up in the line up, or is also possible that with small ball line ups, Anderson will be a C while Joe or Green are our 9th men and Wright doesn't play. We now have complete versatility and can endure injuries. The hope is that we get lucky and we have full health from all star break and forward. This **** isn't that complicated.
Ryno needs to be the odd man out, unless the opposing team is not switching on defense or he's unbelievably hot from 3. Honestly, as defenses start to switch more and more on the pick, Ryno's value becomes less and less... negative considering his defense. Last year, when teams were still playing a lot of ice or hard hedge, then it gave Ryno ample time and space to flare out to the 3 pt line for a pick and pop. This year, not so much. This is why Harden and CP3 are ISOing every other play from the top of the key. Only teams with slow bigs would not switch and instead play traditional PnR defense. If that happens, then MDA needs to play Ryno. Otherwise, he needs to be on the bench.
He is 36, a black hole, and is shooting 27% form the 3 this year. We are hoping Harden and Paul up his shooting percentage but they are not going to be stop him from being 36 and a black hole. This is like contenders getting Paul Pierce in his last days hoping he has something left in his tank only to find out he has no tank. Because he is Mikes fav, I am afraid he is going to get minutes on the floor even if he is sucking. I would have preferred Belinelli.
I don’t want to be a buzzkill either, and I remember how great JJ use to be ...but this is 2018 JJ...he’s not all that great unfortunately. Hopefully being on this team will help him pick up his game.

Now Ariza doesnt have to play all those mintues now and maybe less mintues for PJ tucker now hehehe. Joe can hit that wide open three way more than PJ can.
The Rockets don't need consistent greatness from Joe. They need a veteran that will be ready to play when his number is called.
