I don't think anyone could have made this sequence of events up. It's too crazy. I don't know anything about this guy and can only hope he gives us some decent minutes until, hopefully, we get House back. I'm concerned that House is going to get so pissed off about this series of unfortunate events that he decides to play out the string and see what fortune holds for him this summer. That would NOT be a good result for the Rockets, in my opinion.
Perfect gif for my face right now hahah Also you see that Feign tweet? He is giving up money to be with the Rockets! He knows the value of playing with the MVP!
Morey must have had this move in the back pocket, allowing him to stay firm with House. I've read a lot about this guy being a strong 3&D fit, but seeing at that's a pretty hot commodity in today's NBA, there has to be a reason he hasn't found a home yet. Having said that, if there's a place for him to shine it's probably here. I'm cautiously optimistic.
GREAT signing. Super low risk, high reward. He’s clearly a much much better player than he was 5 years ago when he first tried the NBA and what he did with the disaster that is Minny in limited time this year is meaningless. I’d like to have House and him of course. And of course DM needs to find a Nunnally like big to sign
Not too excited to this signing. One thing I like House is that he's strong enough to guard some of the big when we play small ball, that gives coach chance to rest Tucker. Not sure if Nunnally is strong enough to do that. Hope he can help with his shooting.
Yet House gave up guaranteed NBA money and a starting spot, playing next to the MVP! House may be forgotten soon.
Yep, Gordon may also be in uniform tonight. He and Nunnally along with Ennis and Clark fill all those minutes at the 3. If they hold down the fort til CP3 and eventually Capela return plus the Rockets are able to find someone in the buyout market(or manage to unload Knight and Chriss for another player), House could be left with very little playing time whenever he does wind up returning.
House is now in a situation where his financial future rests on how well The Flying Nunn' and Rockets, in general, do... Growing up in Houston, it must be weird to now have a vested interest in the Rockets failing.
