Since this thread was bumped, I skimmed through a few posts. Despite many posters wrongly proclaiming "Harden is leaving for sure", "Harden era is finished", "Harden is going to demand a trade to the Lakers", "Begging for BJ to be back" etc, this one takes the cake: Spoiler Insider Alert Spoiler
if you're worried about strictly stats of course hes a good coach. especially when his system caters to having the ball in harden's hands tremendously. There was no doubt hardens stats would benefit
Are we 29th in defense in PPG, is that the metric we are talking about, and are we accounting for pace of play? DD
He has been good for Harden, the offensive system does cater to his skillset. No argument there. He is certainly better than McHale so far, that's for sure. But I need to see more games before I judge if he was a good hire, I am not impressed so far. Our three wins are against the Mavs (0-4) and the Knicks (1-3).
29th in defensive efficiency (points per 100 possessions). Dead last before our acceptable showing last night.
Way to early to say he is a good hire. Or a bad one for that matter. You should expect some adjusting period. So things should go better. I remain not a fan. I want a defensive minded coach and a coach which will not play small ball. Which mda is not. That being said I do see some improvements since last year. But I do not see us making it far in the play offs
LOL. Good catch, FTW. It boggles the mind how Bobbyholicpatmc continues to act like he knows more about the game than anyone else around here, yet is always consistently dead wrong.
Except that's the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you said in that previous post: "Dwight has been advised by his people to opt in to his deal for next season." You're not only wrong, but laughably so.
