    Can HArden start picking up the ball in the left corner on a hand-off?

    This makes this scheme kind of useless because then Rubio is basically just guarding out--of-bounds space.

    Teams are playing 4 on 5 in an effort to slow down one guy.

    Look at the coverages James Harden faces.

    He is the MVP. Teams have given up on their own defensive philosophy in order to slow another man down.

    He is the best player in the league right now.

    Or have Harden catch even further from the basket than usual, like Lillard 3 range. Try the butt defense on that and it's an open regular 3, right?
