We should've brought back Luther Head just to team up with Nick Johnson.

What if Nick's Johnson serves a facial to Rudy? Will they call it the "Gay Moment of the night" when they show the highlights?

He may be undersized, but what he lacks in length is compensated for with endurance and rigid determination, proving that you don't have to be big to score often.

Seriously I think Johnson will be going in and out a lot. Then he'll blow up.

Johnson is a workhorse and a his ability to get up without any help is proof that size doesnt matter.

Johnson was smart enough not to lock himself into a 4 year contract like Parsons did.

Not sure why people think the 4 year contract is so bad. All 1st round picks, for example, are locked into 4 year contracts with 2 years guaranteed. The late 1st rounders' scale amount are not even that much higher than what Parsons signed for. http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/info/rookie_scale Besides, the 1st rounders become RESTRICTED free agents after 4 years, not UNRESTRICTED as Parsons would have been at the end of his 4th season.

Westbrook plays PG, Johnson is mainly a 2 guard (which he is undersized for) so I think they are trying to train him more at the PG position, but Johnson has trouble ball handling

Good point. Also, didn't we guarantee CP more money in exchange for him taking that extra year? Or something along those lines.

Nick will be able to hit free agency in 3 years instead of 4... For a player on a cheap contract who believes he's better than the position he was drafted in _ 3 years is the best way to go for the player. That's a benefit of being drafted after the 1st round that a player can take advantage of.

I wouldn't doubt at all that Morey offered him the 4th team option year as well and players who are smart enough to pay attention to the Parsons situation wouldn't go for it.

He has trouble staying in front of point guards as well. He's athletic as heck but his footwork looked slow. But that's something he can work on.

I agree, I think if he can hone some PG skills, he could end up being really good, good shooter, can get up like nobody's business, doesnt need the ball next to harden.. and could be a good small ball 2 if needed and harden was tired. Just needs to quicken his step, get a little more court awareness, and work on ball handling.

Him and Pbev would LOCK DOWN opposing backcourts so I think with him coming on to replace bev would be a consistent strong D at the point which would be awesome.
