    Great move. Better defender than Parsons and at half the price. Now we have plenty of cap flexibility for even more role players.

    This. If Ariza has a defined role of being a role player, he is very good. If he can bring defense, 3 point shooting, allow Harden and Parsons some rest then he is worth it in my eyes.

    I rememebr him sinking 10 3's in Houston when he played against us this year, his 40 pt game against the 6ers, and then his 30 pt game vs the Bulls in the playoffs this year. I would say we got an improved Ariza

    For this price we got a great deal. It's not a big name but it fills a lot or voids.

    Good wing defender
    Can play the 2 or 3
    Stretches the floor since he can shoot the 3 ball at a 40% clip.
    Decent Rebounder

    Given the money people are getting this works for us and give us flexibility and he is an upgrade for the bench. This is not like the last time where we were expecting him to be a main focal point of attack.

    Let Mavs get stuck with Parsons. If we use the remaining cap on some depth I am happy all things considered. This was a very reasonable price. I thought he was going for 11 mil based on Parsons offer

    he's extremely streaky. he has 1-10 3-pt shooting nights even more often
