Tyson Chandler would be a better fit.

He's gonna break down a year into his new deal.

Rebuild and hope New York stinks it up. That way we could get two lotto picks in this deep draft.

I don't see a difference except that Tyson has a ring.

I vote rebuild. Nene isn't the answer. We have more than enough firepower, we need defense and presence down low. We don't need a 4 1/2 like Nene, we need a 5.

    Back to the Justice article:

This team was built to play around Yao. Now that Yao is gone, we've either got to find a very good center and improve on the peripheral positions or we've got to rebuild. We've lost out on all our attempted trades for superstars. If this next little bit of trade/free agent season doesn't yield Dwight or Nene, then it may be time to play for the draft this season and do a quick rebuild with a lottery pick and possibly Dwight/Paul or Dwight/DWill in free agency next offseason.

With that in mind, there is one player you could subtract from this team and turn us into a bottom feeder.......Kyle Lowry. What would his trade value be in picks and young talent?

Nene is a deal that Morey could swing, but Nene has to want to be here.

Let's see: leave Colorado with native-Colorado wife and baby for Houston.

ONLY if he thinks the team can compete. It'll be a tough sell, albeit a little easier with JR Smith and Wilson Chandler and Kenyon Martin in China (or do they come back as soon as the season starts?)

As usual... what the hell is Justice talking about? What an idiot! Nene is a mediocre to good role player just like the rest of our guys. You win with Stars. Les hasn't got the logo and unis right. There was nothing wrong with the championship unis. It was the beginning of a great tradition and he got rid of them for the pajamas. We should've gone back to the mustard and red. Who wins a championship and ditches the logo and unis? Ridiculous. Les also just got rid of one of best coaches in NBA history for Kevin McHale. We went from a top 10 coach of All-Time to a guy known as the Twolves killer.

What about going after D. Howard and Chris Paul in 2012?

The bad thing about that, is not many teams have a need at PG. The only teams that do(namely Lakers, Heat), don't really have any attractive assets(outside of their superstars).

We'd be better off trading Kevin Martin and Luis Scola, and just have P-Pat and Courtney Lee take over the starting spots.

Agreed. Personally, though, I would've rather strung together a package of Lee for Asik + Picks last year.

Dude, that lineup may prove better than Martin and Scola with the improvement in our defense. It would lead to a low playoff seeding or a lottery pick around 14. The way you rebuild is to get into the high lottery, especially 2012. To accomplish that, you gotta remove the engine from this unit, Lowry.

Thabeet, Chuck, Patterson and Hill are enough to solve our 5 problem.

As far as the coaches go, there are good assistants on the staff that should prove be very helpful. Mainly Finch. Plus, they have been working together this entire time.

Is this really what the Rockets want or what this idiot guesses ?? If this season really depends on Nene, forget about this being a fun season for us. Nene is not worth a damn, rather go after a young center since Dwight Howard is not coming either.
