Don't worry about that. He is still tradeable if he plays poorly. And I don't think he will. Nene still has got a lot of juice left in him.
Morey will continue to be aggressive, of course, but the team is in more than good shape even now. Two super stars + plenty of actually good NBA players even with 3 rotations guys gone in the CP trade. Gordon, Ariza, Anderson (yes, he is overpaid, but he actually helps with the basketball part), Nene, Capela. And there's still the MLE, BAE and those non-guaranteed contracts.
With Big D Nene and Long Schlong in the roster, I can say Rockets are doing well in the manhood department
Yep, terrific deal. I have no doubt that there were teams willing to offer him MLE money or something close to it.
people actually think this deal is somehow bad? lol this deal is pennies compared to whats really out there
Basically Nene is saying he is going to end his playing career with the Rockets. Harden is even more motivated for this upcoming season seeing his bodyguard getting rewarded.
True dat, I'm happy with it. Just wasn't expecting this to be our first "BIG" signing after trading for Chris Paul.
He can still play and be a huge factor, especially in the playoffs. So what if he has to rest a game in a B2B in the regular season. This team's concerns are all to the post season. He is basically what Horry was to the Spurs. Rest him plenty in the regular season so he can beast it up come playoff time.
Man y'all CF ppl whine too much, you do remember he was solid when healthy plus he'll prolly retire before the contracts up. Also it's only 3.7 mill for crying out loud.
