Why not? I mean there is no reason to dislike this move. He sucks and we lose more games and keep our pick. He is good and we have him locked up next season for cheap. It sucks that this is what has become of our season, but it is what it is at this point.

Should we ease him in th NBA again? Go to the d league and play with guys who can bench press 135 lbs.

I am thinking this is a good move, Beasly just needed a positive environment to focus on bball, and Houston is the city to do it. Miami was just too Miami for him. But I think he breaks out here in Houston. He was putting up monster numbers in China.

Yeah. Imagine a homeless man version of Corey Brewer. Ball Handling similar to Allen Iverson.

What exactly were y'all expecting? The season is over and the FO knows this...they'll welcome a playoff berth, no doubt, but they still want to save money at this point and sure would like that first round pick. My guess is both of these guys want to come back to the NBA, so they're going to put their best foot forward. Low risk move. Time to focus on next year.

i wish we just gave extra playing time to harrell and KJ. develop them for our future. giving any minutes to beasley and goudelock makes no sense.

honestly, our rotation (and minutes) for the rest of the season should be:

    dwight (30) - capela (21)
    dmo (24) - harrell (21)
    ariza (30) - dekker (15)
    harden (36) - KJ (15)
    pat (30) - terry (18)

josh, brew, TJ, beasley, goudelock should all be removed from the team this summer. so should dwight, but that's for another thread... and we should be missing the playoffs to save our pick, but that's also for another thread.
