Tsakalidis would be better this year than Loren Woods is. At least he would give us a strong body vs. Shaq if nothing else. Loren woods will fall apart trying to guard The Big Cactus.

I'm actually quite surprised that we never gave Tsak a look. He was at worst serviceable, and I thought would have fit quite nicely behind Mt. Mut. He would have at least extended the true center minutes by 5-7 a game.

He would work great in a trade to a team getting under the luxury tax. Think Scola trade. Deke doesn't have a contract, next year. There aren't any good FA 7 footers available for the mid-level exception. How many 7 foot back up Cs get drafted at the 24-26th pick every year?

How do we get Tsakalidis, when he loves it back home.

If you take the movie Twins starring Joe Smith in the place of Arnold and Loren Woods in the place of Danny DeVito you get an idea of the type of game Woods brings to the Rockets.

I don't remember his name but what happened to the young center we got from the Spurs in the Scola deal? He can't be any worse than Woods.

Jackie Butler. He's not in the NBA, any more. no retirement annoucement. I think he's just unemployed.

They inquired about Butler but he told them he is not ready to play this year. Which means he is currently very overweight.

Y'all got it wrong. The idea is to injure the opponent's starting PG/PF, and have him suspended for the rest of the season (or career?). The result? Rockets lose nothing, and sail through to the western final. Whooray!!!
Sad..That's the only way I can rationalize this deal.
