From Hoopsworld.com, Mark Berman states that the Rockets have signed a letter of intent to the Chinese to draft Ming. Has anyone else heeard about this?

A letter of intent does not mean anything. It puts down a foundation for negotiation. The Rockets are saying if nothing crazy happens(like you don't let us have him or we get Shaq as trade) we intend to draft Ming which is no big suprise.
