    according to 610.

Is the Mo Taylor injury more serious than we though?

I'm not complaining. After watching Amare abuse Padgett, we definitely need help with both Mo and C-Spoon out. A combo of Cato and Padgett just won't cut it in this stretch run.

You can say all you want about choking against the Suns, but I'm confident that if we had a single decent PF in that game, Amare wouldn't have been able to take over in the 2nd half and spark them to victory.

I don't mind Oakley. But why all our signings have to be ex-Knicks? Aren't there supposed to be lots of talents in NBA, especially role players? Spoon, Mark Jackson, now Oakley?

Oakley doesn't fit that definition unfortunately.

I am thinking that Jeff may be bringing him in to be a spot minute enforcer type, more than a rotation contributer.

We must've went from one of the youngest teams to one of the oldest with the additions of Oakley and Jackson.

After Amare's first facial dunk in the 2nd half, Oak would have come and and fouled Amare so hard that he wouldn't consider going to the rim again.

Clutch is quick. He already has it on the front page. I like his summary:
Tim, I know you'll avoid this thread like the plague, but fans really want to know: what the hell is wrong with Jeff Van Gundy? Maybe Oakley's the right choice -- I'll give him the benefit of the doubt (even though I hate Oakley) -- but this is no coincidence that he's only picking up players he had coached in New York. Does he have intimacy issues? This has gone beyond convenience into the realm of compulsive behavior.

I think JVG likes veteran leadership and tough attitudes, he is trying to bring some of that to Houston.

We are a PF short right now.. funny how we are always short PF's. Well I like Oakley (if he was 10 years younger he would be perfect) and I think he can contribute and bring toughness.

We will see how things work out but have gone from one of the youngest teams in the league to one of the oldest fairly quickly dont you think? haha

I think soo too, JVG is finallyyy understanding he needs to give his guys some rest on the bench because they dont have the legs left when it comes to the 4th quarter. I mean come on 42, 43 min a game there gona get tiered, they are human after all, just realy reallly rich humans ;)

We need to get tough. Oakley is the enforcer that we need.
