Sorry, no real pics. But I ran into him at the MGM Grand this weekend.
He was there with another tall person (malik badaine? ). I told him thanks for the good years with the Rockets. He was happy I recognized him.

We could have used the Wizard! Clutchcity.. NEVER ON VACATION!

tinman, you are mistaken. Walt never had any good years with the Rockets.

Tinman, shouldn't this be in that Hangout thread about excessive handwashing? Meanwhile, as you are strolling around the MGM Grand, you b*stard (me being jealous! ;) ), Max is being crapped on in a thread, right here in GARM. You, asleep at the switch!

    Glad you sighted him.

The last time I saw him was on the back of a milk carton. Just like the Rockets, I didn't give a s**t.

i was on vacation. people talking bad about Max are people who hate themselves. how do you convince someone to love oneself? once they figure that out, then they will see the glory and the light of Vernon!
    praise him!

I need to buy that CD with casino sounds to wake me up in the morning. Ding Ding Ding.!! Whoop! Whoop! Ding Ding!

I remember a game against Orlando where Tracy was absolutely tearing our asses up, just nailing jumpers over Steve and Cat. Rudy finally put Walt on Tracy in the 4th, and what does he do? Blocks his next dunk attempt. Sent it right back in his face. Walt = T-Mac stopper. :)

    edit: found the recap! http://www.clutchfans.net/game.cfm?gameID=138

"The Rockets led 86-82, but after three straight baskets by McGrady, the Magic regained the lead 88-87.

When Walt Williams nailed a three, the Rockets took a 92-91 lead with 6:48 to go. With 5:28 left, Francis nailed a huge three from the baseline making it 95-91. McGrady went up for a dunk but Walt blocked it, getting a huge response from the fans. "

    Truly, he was a legend.

That was the last time the Rockets had any "toughness". Walt Williams hitting Shawn Bradley. Kenny Thomas picking fights with Abdur-Rahim. Barkley taking down Shaq. Man...that's about as thuggish as the Rockets will ever be.

Walt Williams punches Shawn Bradley @ 2:00

Kenny Thomas punches SAR @ 4:20

Barkley and Shaq get into it right after that one.

I don't why anyone would question the toughness of any RUDY T coached team.

that hit on Bradley was such a cheap shot.
