This could be a trade but assuming it is not, this is not a good pick. Jones is a solid player and its not necessarily an awful pick but with pj3 and Sullinger still on the board it makes it a bad pick. Wish we would have taken a chance on Sullinger.

    Nah 100% wrong.

Terrence Jones shut down TRobinson in the national final. He was the reason they won. He also scored on TRob and broke the game wide open early on.

He can play the 4 and bang in the post, rebound, block shots. BUT he's also versatile to step it outside and very athletic (so some people say he's a 3)

I'd be surprised if he's anything but a 4 in the NBA, the only thing that will stop him being a very good player is lack of desire. If he WANTS to be an outstanding player, he will be.

No physical weakness to his game as a 4. Only concern is mental - and not mental as in "he might not make it"; mental as in "he might not be an all star".
If he doesn't dominate, then he'll still be a very good defender, rebounder, spot up shooter and finisher.

I also wish we'd taken a flyer on Sullinger.

T Jones is more of a "sure thing" to have a long NBA career though.

so how many 6'9" PF's do we have. they probably add up to be 50% of the Rockets lineup.

Terrance Jones will turn out to be the best pick out of our 3 guys.

So now we have two poor man's Paul Pierce's on our roster? Do they combine to form a whole Paul Pierce?

Terrence Jones is a straight baller. I hope we keep him because with a coach like McHale he will become a defensive specialist and a dynamic offensive player.

Maybe. Just like we'll combine all of our PFs together to have a legit center.

    Ha.

Something must be wrong with him. Rockets worked him out twice to make sure and still passed.
