My thoughts exactly. I don't see Lin being in Rox uniform come the start of season.

If he is really a Jameer Nelson type player, that is great value for the #34 pick

Horrible pick by the Rockets, what we really need is a back up shooting guard or small forward. But nope, third string point guard when we already have Lin and Beverly. What was the point in drafting this dude?

No way. I watched him play and just watch his videos. Looks like a Lowry in the making. Not scared of the paint, nice 16-20' jump shot, not a rebound PG but pesky on D. Like this pick if indeed we have future plans for our team in this position.

I like the pick! He's a solid replacement once Lin gets traded.;)

How is he going to fit next to Harden? Practically the entire video was him with the ball in his hands.

Neither Lin nor Beverly can shoot.

If this kid can shoot the NBA 3 he will be a great fit next to Harden.

Daryl only picked him because he played for a school that has his last name, Murray.

Like what I see on the footage...

    - Quick
    - Strong
    - NOT AT ALL afraid of contact
    - Crazy Good J

Thats a good pick and I DAMN sure trust Murray with them second round picks.

He's a more diesel, better, Beverly.

ESPN is on break when the pick is made! How insulting is that?! ESPN never misses an opportunity to slight Houston sports.

I've watched him play a lot, and he plays a lot like Tim Hardaway (Sr.)

I'm obviously not projecting him to be a big-time player like Hardaway, but in terms of playing style, he's low to the ground, shifty, with great range and nice explosion off the bounce. A great value pick. We shouldn't be looking at need, considering the fact Morey will likely make a ton of changes by opening day next year.

I did like Rice a lot though.

Great selection! He stayed all 4 years so he's 22. If we trade Lin, I think Beverley + Canaan could handle the PG spot.
