I know it's crazy, but would Houston do a Brandon Knight for Markelle Fultz and TJ McConnell. While it's not perfect it's a buy low move and it's for players that you could package at the trade deadline. Also Houston does not need MF, at all this year and a 3rd team to get a serviceable wing who makes about 3-8 million depending on if you add a player to the deal.

TJ is playing ok for Philly. Knight isn’t playing. And is expensive. Philly wouldn’t consider this.

I’ve watched him a lot. Daily fantasy has become a small hobby of mine, so I watch everyone lol. When Wall was injured last year both he and the team looked much better.

His defense is serviceable. I don’t know his defensive advanced stats, but from the eye test one thing is for sure. He hustles and competes every possession. This is why he recently replaced Oubre in the starting line up. His length is also bothersome for both 1’s and 2’s on the perimeter. Not the quickest laterally, but he makes up for it with his hustle and savvy.

He is what Morey hoped MCW would be and more. He can spell CP, and could even start at the 3 if needed. He doesn’t shoot a lot of 3’s, so I won’t put too much into his current 46% 3 point shooting. He is an actual play maker, and he can finish at the rim.

He is an well above average role player. When CP rests, we would be in good hands.
I’m not guessing at this. I saw him do it as a starter last year.

46% was last year’s 3 point percentage btw. 33% this year.

Please don't. A clock hasn't helped any of these threads.

I don't see it making sense from the other teams side. Brandon Knight is a negative asset at the moment. He's owed 30 mil over 2 years. He's coming off a ACL injury. He'll need time to rebuild his trade value. This won't happen by Friday unless we toss is more than 1 first round pick. Heck we probably needed to toss in a 1st round pick just to get rid of him in the first place. Let alone get back serviceable players.

Any chance Rudy Gay could be had? He gives us a lot we don't have offensively at least

    Yule C.

Kidding. You may be right. I’m just riding the rumor mill and hoping for the best outcome. If I’m Washington I probably wouldn’t do it, but stranger things have happened.

Has Popovich ever traded with the Rockets ... serious question.

for that matter, has Cuban ever traded a player to Houston.

Satoransky would be an ideal acquisition, he can play the short wing positions PG/SG/SF which we need serious depth in.

Nene, MCW, Chris, Melo and 2 2nds for Meyers Leonard, Jake Layman and a 2020 protected 1st. I know that Leonard couldn't block a beach ball thrown by a toddler but he does everything else well and Layman would give defense and spacing. Plus the rockets need picks for depth that isn't on minimum deals. And Portland is going to probably try to make a move in free agency in 2020 so they won't want to tie up money on a first rounder that year. Any thoughts?
