Called that back to back...i knew it would happen when the "home opener" was put on that Saturday. (30th)
Open with the back to back on the road. Tough. Though we kind of already knew that there was going to be a back to back in there. Funny that the only other non NBATV cable game is on the deuce against the Bobcats of all teams? Haven't counted all the back to backs, but 17 of the last 29 games are at home, with some nice long home-stands in there, including 5 of the last 7. Another start out ok, finish strong type of year?
3 national televised games? that's it!?! Don't give me that, "NBA TV is nationally televised crap" either. The schedule does look balance though. Good mix of strong and weak teams before and after the break.
I counted 15 b2bs....I'll recount... 1st two months look nowhere near as tough as the 2nd part of the season
Yay! 3 national TV games! (sarcasm) At least we got 8 NBA TV games. We play the Heat at home on my birthday, what a great birthday present that would be to beat them.
Yep. Almost half of our games are parts of back to backs. Probably the worst stretch is right after the all star break, we have 6 games in 9 days (3 back to backs).
We will beat LA in their home opener, I know it! Dec 29. Against Miami. I will be in the Toyota center that night for a Fact. There's no reason we shouldn't have 12+ wins in the first two months. I'm predicting a record of 54-28
As already stated, f'n 3 national games. <a href="http://media.photobucket.com/image/really icon/HazelJia/ReallyIcon.gif?o=11" target="_blank"><img src="http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm132/HazelJia/ReallyIcon.gif" border="0"></a> Looks like I'm back in the trenches, watching a season of Rockets basketball on low quality internet links.
Not a fan of starting out with a back to backs, But at least it will give Yao and the coaching staff an early detector of how his feet will hold up/ how many minutes to give him in a close to worst case reg. season scenario.
