thx for that. looks like except for the last couple, the first game of the back-to-backs is against the more difficult team. looks good on paper, but the second games can also be looked at as letdown games.
One small item on nationally televised games....late in the season networks add and drop games all the time depending on how teams are doing. So you never know.
Pretty sure half the board would end up being this guy: <a href='https://postimg.org/image/sb8tnbqaz/' target='_blank'><img src='https://s9.postimg.org/sb8tnbqaz/rocket_jump.jpg' border='0' alt='postimage'/></a>
first month of the season..is it overkill? there's still a high level nba official rocket hater? w/e we get the mavs b2b and we're gonna **** them in the ****!
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the tough road start to start the season. Honestly I think that's the biggest news I've seen this summer regarding the Rockets.
Just bumping this thread to say, the schedule has been a blessing. Being on the road so much at the beginning of the season is clearly accelerating the development of chemistry. With the chemistry built up and the team record decent, there is still room now to get a lot of practice in, get sharper at executing the offense and defense, maybe integrate DMo is soon and after this coming road trip we will be on a Home-heavy schedule. Coaching staff and players deserve a lot of props too for their preparation despite a lack of practice time.
thats one of the hidden gems of long road trips early in the season. for new teams that are serious they have a golden opportunity to build chemistry faster. i didnt think they'd be more than 2 games above 500 till end of december/early jan. glad im wrong
Out of first 20 games to start the season, we play a whopping 14 games on the road, including yet another five game road trip coming up. And mostly against above average teams too. Yikes.
