I really admire Morey for having the patience to deal with him, but I have the feeling that Morey's generosity is ill-advised in Royce's case.

 

We are unbeaten since Royce's return after slumping badly during his absence of late.

 

lets give this guy all the positivity that he can handle..

Paul Milsap is 6-8 and no one complains about his hight. But hopefully we will get a chance to see.

 

I know what happened, he couldn't sell any of his screenplays so he figured he'd play a little bit more basketball up until the point where it allows him some more potential avenues and opportunities.

 

Neither is Parsons.

 

Don't cut yourself with that edge.

 

Fans give him a hard time for being a cold blooded business guy who wheel and deal players like assets. But in this case, such a mindset probably helped him with the issue. If you detach yourself emotionally from White's BS, and just focus on the bottom line, the whole process becomes much easier to deal with. After all, just treat it as part of the developmental process. And it's not like the Rockets truly lost anything during this time. Simply moved back White's development process by half a year.

 

It is about trust more than anything. ㅡ Can he be trusted in crucial situations? He has a lot to prove and to mature.

 

Right, but you're assuming everything is going to be puppies and unicorns from here on out. It'd be nice if it was the case but White just seems like the type to cause more issues as time goes on.

Hoping for the best but absolutely expecting the worst will happen.

 

White is going to have to lay waste to the D-League for several games before I start taking him seriously. So far, he's made a comedy of his first season with the Rockets. White needs to shut his face and talk on the court. We're listening.

 

IMO it would take more than that, he'd have to continually show up and play well for a full year in the NBA including playoffs before I would take him seriously. I have no faith that he will actually be a productive NBA player and that even if he is he wouldn't crack under the pressure of the playoffs.

 

Too late. I bet the locker room openly mocks and despises him.

 

I am stll hoping therapy and or psych meds are getting through to Royce.

The Rockets must think he is one hell of a talent to put up with this much bother.

Wouldn't it be incredible if they are right about his talent?

Obvioously I am not in the large group that wants him anally raped, tortured, etc.

 

All Star within four years. Team will trade either Parsons or PPat to make room for him. He's going to be that good.
Think a better Antoine Walker. Walker with OCD that makes him want to perfect his shooting and skills.
Wouldn't shock me to see him be better than Harden.

I agree Royce is good, but comparing him to maybe be better than Harden when we haven't even see him play a real NBA game yet... is just crazy my friend.
