I'm very excited to see this kid play. I think the Melo comparison isn't too far off; very similar. I wonder if they'll give most of his minutes at the 4 or 3.
Probably just to get some practices in or another injury so the Rockets need a body. Very unlikely a trade happens before the deadline.
It seems like McHale wants to see what he can as opposed to Budinger. He hasn't given him a lot of minutes except on the road trip when the bench was clicking.
My guess is they want him up now practicing and building chemistry with the team, and once the deadline rolls around there may be some minutes for him. No way he is playing right now over Parsons/Bud and Scola/Pat though unless Parsons hits a rookie wall.
If I remember correctly, won't they recall a player if there are a bunch of practices coming up? Unsure how much we get to practice over the next couple weeks. Hope a trade is coming though.....
Finally!!! We can get Carl too shut up about how bad he's hurting the RGV's team chemistry and record. And hopefully he also gets the opportunity to prove him wrong, after playing a whole 3 pre-season games and proclaiming him a bust.
Hill is out for 2 weeks. Smith picked up 5 fouls under 12 mins. Smith looked foul prone in the limited mins in pre-season too. If Patterson has to cover more minutes at C it could open up time at PF.
