Maybe Brad Miller is about ready to play, and we might be better served with an extra point guard available while one of our young bigs plays in the NBDL for extended minutes.
Yeah, "Jared Jeffries suffered hyper-extended right knee vs. Orlando. Did not travel to Minnesota and will be listed as day-to-day." - Rocketsjcf twitter.
That's because there is no practice time, this time around. The Rockets have 4 games in 6 nights, and 3 of them are on the road. In such a tight road schedule, there is usually no time for practice at the Rocket's facility. 02/24 @Minnesota 02/25 Travel back to Houston. 02/26 vs Clippers 02/27 @Dallas Even the tweet message has Ish going to Minnesota, instead of Houston, since time is so short.
Even if Jeffries is hurt, what's the point of calling up Ish if he's not going to play. Do you have to have a certain amount of players active for the games?
Even with Jeffries out, it doesn't make much sense to have him come up unless a trade is coming. That's just my thoughts.
So the Rockets have a lot of games coming up and the Vipers don't play until Friday. That's another good reason to bring him back up to the team. My point was more that it seems ridiculous to think a trade is impending because our 15th best player is re-joining the team.
Perhaps it's because the team plays 4 games in 6 days and they want to dress a full 12 for every game.
lol that'd piss him off on another note, can we not go a week without injury? jeffries, really? a guy who plays less than 8 min a game if at all? fml.
funny that JJ played sparingly in just a few minutes and got injured easily..hope he and AB will be goners.
Man, everyone seems to be desperate for some kind of move. Ish gets called up and everyone automatically starts saying goodbye to Aaron Brooks.
