http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fc/ga...56457/season/2016/tid/6025008/playerview.html He can be a 3 point specialist I guess?
According to FIBA he's shooting 41% from 3 this year and shot a combined 42% from 3 last year, the year before that mid 40s again in international. I guess he can shoot it.
You're looking at half a rookie season with LA. He was 40%+ in college and in China. Safe to say hes better than 37%.
Avery Bradley, Mike Conley, Bledsoe type I would think. If Parsons was still here, and still played defense you probably wouldn't need as much from the PG or PF position also. Ariza's lack of playmaking hurts the team because the ball always winds up in his hands, and he has no where to go with the ball. All in all I think Ariza is good for the team, but he's a big reason why the offense gets stagnant. Parsons was a great off the ball 2nd option for Harden, but now you really need that secondary ability to come from the PG. The PG also now has to cover alot defensively so its a tough fit. So point being, I get why they are trying for what they are trying for. Actually one of the better matches next to Harden was actually Canaan. All of Harden's best options (Canaan, Terry, etc) still leave alot to be desired in playmaking & defense. If you take some chances on guys like Goudelock, you might find something AT LEAST better than heavy minutes of Pat Beverley or old a#$ Terry.
If he can make those floaters effectively, he will be pretty effective. Those floater are always there, the problem a guy like Beverley suck at it. Floaters and 3, but can he play defense.
Yoooooo you guys are sleeping on Goudelock. Did you see those highlights? He didn't even miss a single shot. I hope he gets some minutes in a line up that creates space for him. Otherwise, what's the point?
After reading this article this guy is coming with a chip on his shoulder. Plus he looks like he is better shape then the first time he was in the league. http://www.basketballinsiders.com/andrew-mini-mamba-goudelock-dominating-overseas/
So if he's "well-regarded", then why was he in the CBA and not on an NBA roster? I won't get my hopes up peeps, lol!

Surprising to see Morey making a move. He looks ok, with the 3 and the floater, and can get some separation too. I doubt, if he can pass the ball. He has also been out of the NBA, so it will be hard for him to catch up with the backup NBA PG's.
Well regarded could simply mean hes a good guy, coachable, etc.. Im guessing he makes more money being really good in China than playing 10 mins in the NBA.
