So much for Paul calling all the shots like a Mafiaso Mob boss, allowing the enemy of his fam to join forces. Serious question: Did something like this ever happen in The Godfather?
Now that I’ve had some time to think about this... Basketball wise, it makes too much sense. Hopefully Rivers comes in and produces. I think he’s more than capable helping this team move forward while CP3 is out. On the flip side, I wonder if the ATT network will do us all a favor and put an emoji on his head during games so we don’t have to look at his face? What a strange season to date...
CP3 was fine with it, I'm ok with it too. I hate the guy, he's an ass..but Knight has been very bad, I know that Rivers can play better than Knight at least every 3rd game...
It is what it is...while I’m not crazy about this signing, he’s now a Rocket so I will root for him and wish him and the Rockets success!
I guess Morey and co. feel desperation. Cyber would know more. ***I only know the player side of this one.**** However, I still stand by what has been known for awhile. CP3, and numerous players on the Rockets, do not like this guy. Will they support him as a teammate? Sure. Besides that? As of now, absolutely not. You have to remember, this kid has said horrendous things to CP, James, Trev, Gerald, NeNe etc... (Trev would absolutely beat the brakes off of AR) Perhaps, he comes in with apologies and wanting to move forward, but there's history here and not on good terms. I don't think it was Morey's best move, but we need a PG until Paul comes back. This isn't the last move/big attempt though. We're the busiest team in the league, but DM isn't going to jump to jump. We're in the 7th seed...a little winning streak here and there keeps us legit...and then if all goes as planned, DM pulls through again, like he has in the past.
