What you fail to understand is that was price for Houston. He got everything set up in LA and I bet he would sign there for less so Moreys assets where super big deal & proven fit with Harden. La is his home, his best friend and best player on earth was going there and Magic is in charge. He had to overpay because we let all of our assets for him and we would end up with neither still not eligible to sign supermax freeagents

CP3 sitting out isn't a new thing. We knew he couldn't go a month without WD-40 and some rest on the bench when we signed our future away for him. We don't do well when he is out, but you better get used to it. It's the new normal.

I'm sorry but anyone who thinks he's worth that contract is delusional.

No one making $40mil a year should as up and down in performance as CP3 is.

Yes he will have a few games that remind you that he used to be great but those are few and far between at this point.

It's becoming more and more clear that we really only had a 1yr window to take down the Warriors.

The sober reality is that Harden is in his prime and Capela is entering his, but our future does not look near as bright as it should.

And there's $160 million reasons why.

Instead of just sitting him for an entire game, why not just let him play for the 2nd half? It guarantees his minutes will be down and he can still help the team when needed most.

40million for an old man who plays 60 games (if we are lucky). Morey is a genius!

The Harden era really might be capped by this contract. A damn shame. We were so close.

This guy is not worth that contract. pffff. Talking about paying someone for there hall of fame status and not real time production, houston could of gotten 2 great players close to entering their prime instead they bring in someone past their prime and looking for a big retirement , reward paycheck, for his vet status, but this is a young players league. Sorry but that was not a good decision, maybe if paul was 3rd or 4th star for half the money then maybe it be ok on the DNP on B2B, and putting up 5 points and 7 assist on some nights.

The Rockets are playing inspired basketball and when their injured pieces return, the team will reach its maximum potential.

We weren't close at all without CP3.

Don’t trip on the TAX if you were ok giving him $160mill.

A lot of y’all said oh didn’t matter if he took a little less, well yes it did look at what we had to do before the deadline.

What kd did and others helped there team, his SUPER MAX BACK LOADED, hurt our team.

As the cap goes up how contract goes up. He will be making $45mill a season soon.

Saw he’s even making more than Lebron.

This is the deal that ruins Harden's prime. You are witnessing it right now.

I didn't realize Tilfarts cheapness. Taking that into account, there is no reason to give a deal like that
