We need a guy to bring it up the court though, that will drastically cut down on Harden's turnovers. Similarly, we're going to run Harden into the floor if we keep running everything through him- and it's far too predictable for when the playoffs come. We need someone who can come in and run the offense for ten, twelve minutes a game while Harden takes a breather.

Bev is leasing his home though, since he has a fear or being traded. From the person who trying was trying to sell to him. Bev's forte is D, his jumper and finishing abilities are hit or miss. He has a Tjones type effect with his jump shot. Plus he gets wide open looks, if Ty starts knocking those down then we've definitely overpaid Bev. I also like Jet on the court, so right now, we have our pick and can test which PG should play those crucial 4th qtr minutes. Against, Dallas, I thought Ty and JET did a good job.
Even if Ty starts hitting Bev's value is tremendous given our lack of defensive intensity at the guard spot. Also he brings energy & effort. 2 things we lacked when he was out. No way we overpaid for Bev
Patrick's contract is looking pretty good these days, in my humble opinion. Next year, with the rise in the cap, it'll look even better. Pat's currently our best 3 point shooter, hitting them at what is easily a career best percentage, has a 2/1 assist to turnover ratio, and is playing decent defense, giving us a solid 26 minutes per game. Not the defender he was his first season, not close, but seems to be improving. A key member of the rotation. Long may he remain healthy!
Worth every penny. That's less than MLE next season if I'm not mistaken. Will always have a role on any team in the league. Not easy to find someone with that kind of heart, effort, tenacity, good defense, very good 3pt shooting. He's worth his contract even if he comes off the bench for 20 minutes and he fits well next to our star player. Doesn't complain, doesn't whine to the media. What else do you want for 6-7m?
