on second thought, do the rockets still get a ton of exposure in china? or did that fade after Lin left? I wonder if endorsement opportunities (overseas maybe) played a role in him staying in Hou, and will make up any difference he wouldve made salary-wise. Not that he's a big name player or anything, but even his tier type players get some decent endorsement deals.
Max contract depends on a players time in the league. Lebron's max and Jackson's max are completely different. Reggie just signed the same contract James Harden is signed to. We got a good deal on Beverlys contract, especially with how all these others are getting paid. Ill be more than happy if we end up keeping him on the team with that contract, and wont feel like we are over paying him if he doesnt start.
If what Bima hypothesizes the deal may be, is true, it is a fantastic deal for the Rockets and I hope they were able to do the same with Brewer.
Why does this burn your toast so much?? This was a good deal for the Rockets AND Bev. The guy wanted to stay in Houston, and still got paid. Perhaps he valued winning, chemistry and loyalty over a few more bucks.
Yay, personal achievement unlocked, beat Bima to a CBA question... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aXbf3X56rGM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I have no trust in our PG situation. Re-signing Beverley proves once again that Houston pro teams have low regard for floor and field leaders (Point Guards and Quarterbacks)
Last year we had Flexibility come off the bench now we have Mr. Bargain to fill that role. This is a front office city. Thats who rocket fans cheer for. Hurray
I enjoyed cheering my team and organization to the conference finals. I wish you could have done the same. Keep holding out hope that Dwight and Harden leave so you again can be happy.

We will be VERY happy we kept him, if we had him in the playoffs, the GS series would have been a toss up and the Clippers not nearly as close as it was. DD
Two 37 year old point guards had to chase Paul and Curry around in the playoffs. Beverley back will make a huge difference.

Beverely played poor last year, but that was due to nagging injuries. I have full hope he will return strong and propel this team . Hopefully in a 28mpg bench role
