This is much much nicer. It almost seems more professional than our own team logo. Too bad the Rockets are not open to fan appeal. Classic standard timeless look is always better than the stylish fad they tried to create. Thats why standard Yankee, Lakers, Celtics jerseys are all timeless. Very basic and timeless.
I had to double post again. I cant stop for some reason. This time. I have to say if I was gonna redo it that is exactly how I would have wanted the Rockets jersey to always look. Perfect and spot on OP.
the yellow trim around the font makes it feel a bit too mcdonaldsy .. the shorts look really good, im still not a fan of that jersey trim. still feels too much like a vest.. and no to any of the logos..
Easiest thing for the rockets to do is put a thread up through clutch with 3 or 4 options and let this place vote on the best. Fans would be happy with the selection and the choice would probably be good for the next 20+ years. I think our current jerseys are ok but as far as I know there was zero fan or player input. It looks completely designed to cater to the Chinese fans that came with Yao. That era has now passed. I think the pajama logo may have had fan input but those jerseys couldn't have. It's stupid how easy the rockets could make this decision.
No one will ever approach Bud Adams as The Supreme Houston Sports Ass Hole of All Time. He will forever own that title. dreamtofranchise, those are some great looking uniforms!
The white uniforms are sick...so clean looking. The logo can also grow on me. Definitely thumbs up, great work!
I like the simplicity, I've always hoped we could find a modern way to go to our roots... but not get too aggressive or crazy with it. These are pretty nice unis. I guess I'm one of the few that liked the idea for the logo. Very simple, logically incorporates a rocket symbol into the old colors and shoutout to the old one. I did a couple min photoshop because people were talking about tweaks and rotations... where the Rocket was, etc. Is this more like it? Not perfect, but its after work and I an lazy. good work.
I have no problem at all with something like this...it would allow us to incorporate the black alternate as well...as of now the Rockets said they won't do it because black isn't part of the color scheme..

Discussion re type of Rocket It seems that the Rocket logo always pertains to "space ship"...re NASA local connection .... but... really has that been decided. What about... a shower of Rockets as in Firecrackers... what are the response?
