Clearly TJ is either trade-bait in the off-season, or has just always been considered a 'We'll see what he can do next year' guy by the organization. Hopefully he uses this year to make himself mentally strong and to hone his skills.

And in case this stings for him, which it very well might, he should just look at the Rockets' history with Chuck Hayes, and see how that all turned out.

Clearly with TJones going down, the Vipers have a better chance of winning now that Royce left.

Maybe, DM forcing Mchale to showcase T-rob for trade in the offseason. Jones make the rotation next year.

 

The Rockets are usually pretty good at determining when players are ready to play. My understanding is that Jones has the physical skills but is having difficulty knowing where he is supposed to be on the floor.

 

So why do you think T-rob is being traded....

I really feel Jones could be helping the Rox this year. His skill set is needed by the Rox. I feel the only reason they are playing TRob over Jones is because he was a top 5 lottery pick and they feel they have to give him a chance over Jones at this point. Oh well...

 

Sounds more interesting to speculate on trade scenarios or coaching conflicts than if he just came back from a hand injury and is cleared to play, albeit with the RGV.

 

Why in the hell is fatback coming back but TJ gets sent down!!!

 

The few minutes he got while on the rox he didn't appear to be out of position. I know that's not practice but what he did with those minutes appeared to be enough to earn more pt
