What do you mean they went down there and started averaging 20 points a game. Did any of them get any better or where they just playing against scrubs.

Marcus was a scrub last year, and this year he's a bonafide rotation guy. All of those other guys did their time in the D-League and went on to become valuable pieces on an NBA roster. To me, that says the system is working. Why whine and complain about it? It's not like those guys were getting any minutes on the big team.

Time away from McHale can only improve their game.

It's still a good way to transition them into the NBA game from college/Euroleague, since it's a step up from playing college basketball games for Terrence Jones and a way to get used to the physicality of the NBA for Donatas Motiejunas.

whats the point of recalling and rescinding them honestly...keep them down there for a good month and analyze the results not just after a couple games

Rockets are sending and calling back players from D-League more times than I changed my underwear. Hope they can keep them there longer so they can develop and gain confidence.

Simple, what is the difference between a rookie-2nd year player:

    - Getting only 40-50 games a year at 15 minutes a game?

    - Getting only 40-50 games a year at 15 minutes a game? PLUS another 30 GAMES of FULL TIME PLAYING minutes?

The only difference between a Rockets rookie from year 2003 and 2013 is now they actually do have a D-League where they have "sh** to do" during THAT DOWN time.

Patrick Patterson, Carl Landry, Aaron Brooks, all of them played less than 52 games their rookie seaons.
Bostjan Nachbar only played 14 games his rookie season.
Jordan Hill played less than 50 games each his 1st 2 seasons.
(No need to mention Joey Dorsey and Jermaine Taylor. Luther Head - 80 games rookie season lol).
If Vassillis Spanoulis wasnt such a prick and was more D-Mo's age, he coulda benefitted from D-League time

LOL. Yep... We are thin and inexperienced on the frontcourt so that sounds like a smart plan. I too believe in cutting of my nose to spite my face!
