Or just the inevitable trade of either him or Tjones.

I would love to keep Josh and Dmo. T Jones has the talent to be a very effective player in this league. But he feels awkward as a big man. If he rebounded better, he could run the break like Josh did. But he doesn't rebound that well and he can't defend or score against most big men.

You know your season is swirling the toilet bowl when fans get this excited about acquiring Josh effing Smith.

Additional luxury tax and loss of trade exception for Josh Smith. Yay Morey. *sigh*

I can't be the only person that thinks that Josh Smith and JB Bickerstaff look really similar, can I?

Well, that's what we all hope. But let's face it, DMo and his back are a big question mark for the rest of the season. You can only trade Jones if you get a better PF in return.

Josh Smith was clearly the only thing holding this team together.

He won't make us a contender, but with the way our bigs have been playing it's a great deal, especially when we only gave up draft rights.

Can't count on DMo anymore, sadly. Too many damn injuries. Another sad if-only player n Rockets lore.

You keep acting like you know when Dmo is going to be back...... Relax you don't knew anything anymore than I do, which is nothing.

The guy hasn't even been cleared for on court activity. Meaning he isn't even practicing or shooting.

Don't hold your breath because the odds of dmo coming back anytimes soon is slim. Better chance he doesn't play at all the rest of the way.

    This is a defensive move.

Offensively he is up and down, I don't see him helping too much. But he actually plays competent defense, something Harrell and Jones don't do. By merely being an average defensive player he is a huge upgrade.

DMO isn't coming back anytime soon. Besides, why would they give up a player who is one of the best in the league in the 4th quarter?

Shouldn't have let him get away in the first damn place.
