Awesome. He did end up replacing Wafer after all. And a job well-done.

I hope we sign him once he is healthy.
For now I think the roster will look like this though...

    C: David Andersen/Chuck Hayes/Pops Mensah Bonsu
    PF: Luis Scola/Carl Landry/Joey Dorsey
    SF: Shane Battier/Chase Budinger
    SG: Trevor Ariza/Jermaine Taylor
    PG: Aaron Brooks/Kyle Lowry/Will Conroy
    Injured: T-Mac and Yao

When T-Mac returns, he starts and Ariza starts at SF with Battier coming off the bench. Joey Dorsey starts the year off in the D-League. Once T-Mac returns Jermaine Taylor goes to D-League as well. When McCants is healthy, Conroy is cut signed to D-League and McCants backs up T-Mac.

I think Chase starts out in the D-League, and Conroy too. Taylor, I would think, will have a chance to stick around if he plays well enough.

And I don't have a good feeling about Pops. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a major disappointment from what we initially thought we were getting.

When you announce that what other team would even try to trade for him?

He could still have value as an expiring. If a team is 2 million or so over the cap they could trade a player to the Rox that makes about what Barry makes but has more years on his deal.

Season ends and that teams saves millions by not paying the 2 million they would have owed in taxes and also by receiving a share from the millions that over the tax teams have to pay.

They could save even more by trading for Barry then buying him out. Only thing is they would have to have a player the Rox want and would be willing to have on the roster next year that only makes 2 million this year. Not likely but possible.

Shouldn't be Wally considering we have absolutely no need for him as he can't play the 2 guard spot. Wonder who it is but we shouldn't have our hopes up for anything significant.

It could be any of the following given that there the only free agents left!!

    Stephen Graham
    Joey Graham
    Gerald Green
    Juan Dixon
    Thomas Garner
    Othello Hunter

...i got there names from the free agency list: Free Agency List

PS. not sure if some of them have signed with other teams yet
