It is still the same, old story. In Morey we trust! That should be out slogan, btw. But really, the guy is no God, he is not gonna do something out of nothing.

I really hoped McCants could be that guy. But I guess he can't.

He will have to relay on Tracy. He can't rush because if he comes back we need him at 100% or even 110%. But really, the sooner, the better.

    What if:

McCants was simply too good, and that Morey is also slowing Tmac down because he has his eyes on... John Wall? :D

I heard JT was doing very well, I was disappointed in what we saw in the summer league, maybe he is turning into what we thought when we bought him?

Raise your hand if you think this was really about McCants' physical health.

    Thought so.

Brooks played a 'bit' of two. Not much.

I guess we'll be seeing a lot of JT!
That or playing a "Big" lineup. Ha.

This is what the pre-season is for though..
    To find a rotation.

Agreed. I'm not expecting an All Star or even an above average SG. At this point, I will be happy just to see someone brought in who is a PROVEN NBA shooting guard. Not even a proven starter, just a guy who was in an active rotation somewhere and contributed something consistently.

I thought McCants was a realistic option. Something equal to him would be light years ahead of where they are now IMO.

Can Mace, I mean Lowry guard the 2? If so, then we could use the Lowry brooks duo at 1&2 until we get over powered. taht would work for stretches at a time. I know adelman did it last year, i wonder what the stats are like when the 2 are together at the same time.

Is anyone else down about not being able to refer to him as RMac this season?

I have a feeling that JT is gonna struggle as HELL. But I hope I am wrong.

As for Aaron, if we want to be a top defensive team we can't play him as a 2 and Rick knows it.

That's what I am praying for. Everybody is so excited about JT, Budinger, Andersen. But they are gonna be new, they are gonna struggle and will need time to adjust. Scoring in college is not the same thing that scoring in the NBA. Once again, I have a strong feeling that JT is gonna be a big fail in the first 2 months of the season. I doubt he is an eficient player.

Proven NBA SG. That's what we need. VETERAN. And I am not saying about Brent Barry who couldn't run to save his life. It has to be a guy that knows what to do, knows who he is and knows how to play.

I tought Rashad was an ideal player. A starter at first and than a good scorer off the bench to give McGrady rest.

Depending on opposing matchups, we can have him as a 2 on offense but a 1 on defense.

Makes sense, why sign the guy even to a non-guaranteed contract if he can't play yet. I doubt he makes the squad even if we bring him back. Coming off an injury and not having played any ball over the summer he's going to be behind other guys like Cbud, Taylor, Dorsey etc that have been in the gym all summer.
