I get a similar feeling. An NBA player that is in his position should be fighting for his life to stick somewhere. Unless he had a serious case of swine flu, I'm not buying the story. A mere cold wouldn't keep him off the court unless management didn't want him to spread it or something. Either way, so long to Rashad McCouldnt.
Well that sucks!....and here i was excited to see him play who are we going to use at 2, Ariza!?!! given that mcgrady isn't coming back till Nov, 23.... -rocketblaze
this is a really abrupt turn. getting a better offer is a possibility but how could a team make a better offer when he's technically under contract? (albeit non-guaranteed). he probably thought he was a shoe in for minutes at the 2... then found out that tmac is back sooner than expected, ariza is playing the 2, and the team is really high on JT and chase. he decided to jump ship and the team obliged him.
Can someone check on DaDakota? To lose Wafer and McCants in the span of 6 weeks has got to be hard on him. On a side note, you would think the Rockets would know something about his health beforehand. I wonder if McCants had a Bonzi Wells-esque "not getting paid" bad attitude about the workouts or something.
Feigan-- Rockets have not ruled out McCants. He had a slight groin pull and was not signed. He could be brought in later this month
That was quick... Bt I am really worried about our SG spot. McGrady will miss the start of the season so we have no proven guys at that position. We have Taylor etc but we do not know what to expect. Pretty damn bad. We need Tracy ASAP.
There's a flu epidemic here in Austin. I'm guessing DD might not be feeling well. He might be home at stately Dakota manor in Circle C.
