Wright is not PF in this system, he will be backing up Clint and Nene. No perimeter scoring required.

Love me some Pig Miller, Maciej Lampe.

For all of you old timers the worst 1st rd pick in Rockets history, Lee Johnson.

    Honorable mention

I don't know man - Petruska was a bottom tier 2nd rounder. Royce White was a 1st round pick with high upside and he ended up playing 9 total minutes in the NBA - none for Houston. At least Petruska played double digit games for us.

I heard the warriors say "rockets ain't even that good" after every huddle. Should we be mad?

Not at all. If you think that, you have an inability to see players for what they are to a team. Padgett was the 9th guy off the bench at best. He was always fine for that role.

For that matter, neither would Maloney belong on any of these lists, except CD gave him a fat contract without warrant.

That’s not exactly Maloney’s fault. That contract was a big reason he became so disliked. If he was supplanted by someone better and relegated to backup pg (which he always should have been) without having that contract, no one would dislike him.

This is the exact reason guys like Bob Sura were beloved while guys like Maloney and Ryan Anderson are disliked.

No one here would have any issue with Anderson if he were getting paid $10 million a year.

While this is all encouraging Green, Johnson, and Wright are not likely to make a big impact come playoff time. All of their impact should be evident down the stretch as the grind of the season wears on the team thus requiring them to reach deeper into the bench to find the energy.

My thoughts exactly. This thread is awkward and goofy. Signing 10th men after the trade deadline isn't a predictor of championships.

Nice, wonder if either of Wright or Johnson will be in uniform tonight, also didn't we have 14 players, who was let go to make room?
