I'm just calling out the hypocrisy. Morey blabbergastic = good, Tilman chirps = can't stand that guy.

This moron thinks Westbrook is in his prime. When a player relies 100% on ahtleticism, his prime is not 30+

You hate to see it. That was a costly trade and will basically limit any improvement around the margins to buyouts and cheap vet deals.

Well, there goes my goodwill towards this guy. Undermining your management is a huge no-no, especially in the media. They lose credibility and clout. What a jackass.

Bad look for someone who has been a crappy owner. If we consolidate our garbage and picks to pickup a quality player I will feel better about things but otherwise IMO we screwed.

the only chance we'll get a new owner is that if Tilmans pull a Donald Sterling.

“The one thing I believe you do in business, and you do in basketball, is you never sit still. You always keep it exciting. Not only is it exciting that we’re a better team, but it’s exciting for the fans. I owe it to them to give them the best opportunity to win a championship every year.”

Delusional ducking idiot. “Keeping it exciting” is not what you do

Every NBA insider is already in the know on how bad of an owner Tilman is. But he’ll still have his sycophants/burner accounts on here.

I'm not defending Tilman, because I hate the LTS thing he has going, but the fact he pushed for the trade is kind of a non story.

Listen to Morey in the Bill Simmons podacast. He says there that oweners push and veto trades all the time, said Les did that quite a few times also and it's part of the GM x owner dynamic.

Are there really people on here that prefer Paul over Westbrook?!

Yes we gave up draft assets, but the time is now to go for it all. Harden won’t be able to do this forever. You don’t kick the can again with a 34 year old guard who has been extremely injury prone.

Not to mention the West is as wide open as it has been in years with the GS juggernaut gone. We may not win it all, but we should compete for it. Another year with Paul would have left us in the 5-8 range in the conference with no chance at a title.

I don’t like Tilman, but I sure am glad that all you wannabe GMs aren’t running the team.

    Good grief...

    f*** Tilman.

It sucks that the team I will be a fan of for the rest of my life is now stuck with a horrible owner Once Harden retires and Morey leaves, this team is going to be a disaster. While it seems like a large bit of hyperbole, just look at the Knicks, the Suns, the Kings, and the Sterling era Clippers.

Bad owners results in bad teams. Tilman is a bad owner.

We all knew Tillman mandated it. Didn’t smell like a Morey move at all. That said, I wouldn’t say we’ve lost the trade just yet. The playoffs will be interesting. The bigger problem is really that Tillman doesn’t just let the man do his job.

Because he wants to be a celebrity. And he wants to be thought of as a business leader. Maybe a political leader too?

It's not so he can help the Houston Rockets win a championship.
