Does anyone think the rockets are overated. We havent really beat any good teams besides the lakers twice and minessota once. Our division and confernce records sucks. Even the Utah jazz have a better record in the div and conf. What is yalls opinion.

We do not have a competent PG.
We do not have a PF that can shoot a 10 footer to save his live.
We have two SG on the floor at the same time which kills our passing game.
And we don't have a guard that shoots with any sort of efficiency.

Trades will be made in the off-season.

Bring in McGrady or Allen or Brand. Someone! We need help on the scoring end!!!

last 13 games Rockets are 6-7 including losses to Miami and Phoenix...I think we are a bit overrated.

Rockets really don't have a lot of good perimeter shooters. That's why the Rockets are overrated. Of all 8 playoff teams, I'd take the Rockets' perimeter shooters over only Denver's. Perimeter shooting is VERY important in the half-court offense.

i think some1 mentioned this before, but our starting lineup consist of 3 shooting guards and 2 centers.

Who the hell over-rates the Rockets? Has someone been giving them props lately? Who?

The only people who gives two $hits about the Rockets are the kind of people who post on this board- ROCKETS FANS.

Our center doesn't jump high enough
Our poing guard doesn't pass enough
    Our horse is too small
    Our jockey's too big
    Our trainer's too old

And I'm too dumb to know the difference!

Maybe not in the national rankings or media rankings. But YES the rockets are overrated by way of some comments by some media members on television like "Nobody wants to see the Rockets in the playoffs" or the good compliments by Bill Walton during the games etc. etc. It just so happens that the ONLY big wins the rockets have this year (Lakers twice, and Wolves) was on national TV and that gave the rockets some good exposure.

I knew the Rockets weren't playoff material all along, so they're definitely not overrated. They'll prove it in the final month of the season when the Blazers catch them...

Perhaps, they are what they are and what they are is a middle of the pack NBA team. Much more worrisome is the fact that JVG has transformed them into an Eastern Conference team that plays in the Western Conference - not a good thing at all. They might just sneak into the playoffs as the 8th seed in the West but from what they've shown, there's simply NO way they can win a playoff series.

The numbers certainly are not encouraging: Their record is 32-24. They are currently 5th in the MidWest, 2 games behind Memphis, a team many folks here consider to be inferior to these Rockets. To me the proof is in the results and the results thus far say that it is the Rockets who are the inferior team. Worse, the NUGGETS are only 1 game behind the Rockets in the MidWest. They are another so-called "inferior" team that is on the rise while the Rockets appear poised to begin their annual SpringTime Swoon...
