Starting 5 stays healthy. 4 bench guys emerge as rotation worthy. (Daniels, Kostas, a PG and a big) Make a trade for an upgrade somewhere. Whether it's PG, PF or backup C Defense joins the offense in the top 10 56-26
The Rockets win 50 without playing the Mavs and the Spurs. Once we sweep both of those teams we will be sitting at 58.
I assume the odds makers for this was Westgate Las Vegas Superbook. I am not even a fun of Harden, but through all the offseason xxxx, if Harden can finally pick up his defense and play team ball, we could have better record than last year.
Lack of depth... Defense should be better... KMH is still the coach... 50 is a really good number Over but not by much if healthy... Not close if one of the superstars goes down for l ong periods of time.
I got money on a lot of Morey magic with all the question marks on our bench. If we go from being perceived as the most shallow bench to the one of the deepest and these question marks say "Hello, NBA!"....then over 50. But I'll say under so it don't get jinxed! We pluck Parsons types out of 2nd rounds. We pluck all defensive team Beverley types out of the Ukraine. I think we're gonna see a lot of leveling ups from TJ, D-Mo, Daniels & Canaan. Adrien played late last year like he had an epiphany. Pap could be a big deal. Capela could quickly make 15 boards, 5 blocks, 7 alley oops look like business as usual and force his way into some minutes late season. They won't all be hits, but if we get 4 or 5 guys break out, we could be really strong.
I actually think this squad is deeper than last year. 54-57 wins seems about right. I'd definitely take the over.
To clarify, I meant Capela making those numbers look regular while on the Vipers to force his way up for minutes.
Over. They lost supporting players, yes, but not the key players. Ariza does the same thing Chandler does, better like defense.
Less distractions and a contract a year for Mchale (not optimistic). We should be better. We lost a bunch of freebies last year.
