Capela tries to do more but against real centers that have a little more sand in their pants we will be calling for Nene... Capela ain't taking on real strong athletic centers like AD, Cousins, Gasol, Adams, Whiteside, Drummond man to man on that court. He not shutting down power forwards like Aldridge, D. Green, Griffin, Horford or Love either. I mean he isn't bad but he is not the game changer that D. Jordan is. DJ puts fear in boys heart... Capela DON'T do that sorry.

Just absolutely no concept of salary cap? Like none? Not even a thought in the back of your mind that salaries have to be somewhat close?

Jordan doesn't put fear in to anyone, he isn't shutting down those players either. Jordan gets scored on at the rim at a decent clip

Jordan is good for rebounding and 1 block a game, that's it

More for his rebounding, interior defense, and physical presence. I also think a move here would reinvigorate him.

his interior defence isn't that good, guards drive by him for scores quite often.

If there is one thing you should notice, is how Jordan's blocks have dropped away because Chris Paul left. Paul putting pressure on ball handlers on drives and Jordan coming over the top to block is what made Jordan's defence look good

Interior defense, as in affecting shots around the basket, bodying up other 5s in the paint, etc. Defending the PnR is a different story.

So Jordan would be better defensively in Houston then right? Also, he doesn’t really want to be there and his team is headed nowhere. I doubt he’s all that motivated.

Do you think that has anything to do with effort/how engaged he is? And he'd be playing alongside CP again, right?

many a season Jordan has had one of the worst fg percentages against when defending. Guys were scoring at clips of 47-48 percent against him at the rim

if he needs another player to make him look better dfensively than he is, he isn't going to improve the team at all. And shows he is over rated by lots of people

No, he is just showing who he is. He is an alright player who some people over rate because he provides highlight dunks and a block hear or there

Clint is an original, he came up from our system. I wouldn't want to see him traded if we could trade anderson+ filler pick for dj I would gladly accept that deal.

he went from CP3 defending out on the perimeter to the likes of Lou Williams

Capela isn’t covering up for that drop in perimeter defense either. U also didn’t acknowledge that DJ probably isn’t motivated in LA right now and is probably half-assing it. That’s what a lot of players go through when they’re in a bad situation that they don’t want to be in and they know that their team has been trying to get rid of them.

Imagine if Morey found a way to keep Capela and get Jordan.
