Explain to me why he would opt-out? He would be losing a lot of money and for a guy like him who gets his largest chunk of change from his NBA contracts thats a big deal.

I agree it would be surprising, but if you buy into the theories on this website he's going to sign here for the minimum with Lebron and Chris Paul.

Of course the stories here had people thinking Durant was hoodwinking the media and was signing with the Rockets, Morey was doing a sign and trade for Millsap, etc. etc. etc.

He's not going to, thats homerism at its finest. Just not happening and a trade is even worse because he stands to make way more money than he would be worth to the Rockets. DeAndre couldn't even play a significant amount against a team like the Warriors, which is exactly the team we are trying to beat.

I'm trying to think of a scenario where DeAndre wouldn't get pig roasted by GS in a 7 game series. Kinda sad that he'd be a literal anchor to the defense even if what he brought was solid 5 years ago.

On a side note, for the people who want to dump Ariza, who would be a solid replacement to put a hand in Katy's face most of the time?

I know angry people with clouded thoughts think it's useless and he'd shoot over any stiff regardless, but if it were that obvious to just let him shoot, then why assign Trevor to him and instead let him lock down some lessor player?

Clint Capela is literally the best C in the entire NBA for a switching defensive scheme.

    Pay that man his money.

Honestly why people like to make things up?

CC is the best fit for us at the center. He's been playing well with harden and Chris why break the chemistry and bring in someone else?

Ariza, ppl has to understand he's here as a defense specialist and shot a 3 once in awhile to keep the opponent on him and create space. He was asked to shoot too much at game 7 because we got no offense going and everyone jacking up 3s.
