It's good decision. We can't improve PG through the draft, it's very unlikely to get major upgrade in PG via draft and Lull can contribute instantly. He's not an elite PG, but at least we will have some versality and depper rotation.
I agree. Even if we draft a pg, he is gonna have to be really really good to break the rotation. We all know how McHale treats rookies...they only ever really get a chance if someone gets hurt.
This is the Rockets we're talking about. There will be injuries. And BTW, even that doesn't guarantee squat with a young player. Canaan started in place of Bev when he was hurt and played decently in his absence....only to wind up with a bunch of DNP-CD's once Bev was healthy again.
Good move......His game will translate well with THIS TEAM. He pushes the ball hard on the break. He will be able to get easy baskets for howard on pick and rolls. Most of all; cut the play making duties for Harden down.....he is someone that can get Harden easy buckets. This is a plus.....if you don't trust Morey by now....
Let's not talk about Canaan....he's someone who was thoroughly outplayed by Ish Smith. He's not someone that we treated unfairly.

the best thing about Lull is his drive the guy is relentless, we def need someone like him within the team
