i'm wondering if it might not be best to just rest our guys now and open up at the worriers (or even easier, the nugz) right off the bat
Oh wait. If Denver slip to the 4th spot they will not be in our bracket. We have to be careful to position ourselves to be in the Nuggets bracket.
The Nuggets are 4 up on us in the loss column (3 overall) but have a brutal schedule ahead. If we can take our home game against them on Thursday, and if they lose 2 of the 3 games they then face against the Warriors, Thunder, and Spurs, then we can create a squeeze between the Nuggets and Blazers, who play each other back to back on April 5 and April 7. Our goal should be to enter those two games with the Nuggets needing both. If they take one off the Blazers, that puts us ahead of the Blazers ... assuming we do our part and keep winning.
aside from tomorrow nite, we have a bunch of tough games ourselves as well. we'll have to beat DEN, SAC 2 games in a row, b2b @LAC, and then @OKC to finish the season. i'm wondering if we shouldn't just rest everyone next couple weeks and open up at the 8th spot fresh & ready!
currently its 8 to just get to the playoffs all healthy. everything takes care of itself from there, as they can beat anyone
To rest or not to rest. That’s the question. I am sure the Warriors will get plenty resting since they can afford to. Nuggets are no threat to over take them for first.
Resting hurt us last year. We have more scoring depth this year, if the role players pick it up. Defensively, we are weaker but are making gradual progress.
why are we not yet marked as clinched for the playoffs when I checked on the NBA app? hate is real huh??!!
