And clueless on offense.

Pick up style offense with no structure.

Brewer needs to be benched immediately. Thornton needs to play....this is inexcusable. MC is a proven vet, not a rookie or garbage time player.

 

Much more concerned about the offense. MUCHHHHHH more concerned about the offense.

 

You really want to see thornton? And expectwith him a better defence? Really?

 

We're not exactly scoring either...the point is, something has to change in games, when you're getting blown out and the core group can't get it together. That's what the bench is for..to find a spark. One game was bad, but ok....now two? Insane. It's like mchale is coaching them to practice and not to win games. You can't get embarrassed like this and not exhaust all your options, twice and in a row.

Thorton is not such a bad defender and Brewer is not a good one either, he gets steals but other than that, he's just like any average joe. We look lost on both sides, team is in trouble and coach is not capable of handling it. We had injuries last year, yet we fought like junkyard dogs.

Agreed. Defense is about the character of the players, not the coaching.

Exactly....i dont know weather to fault bad coaching or just lack of hustle and focus.
Its probably both which is really sad considering this is just the 2nd game of the season. We still cant seem to figure out how to play a full quarter let alone a game without mental lapses.
Thibidoeu are you there plz? oh yeah i forgot ppl are worried youll run our players to the ground, they can care less about being fully prepared to play defense on a nightly basis..

 

Mchale doesn't challenge anyone on this team. There's no discipline... guys just do what they want.

100% correct. To me its on the coaching staff and no one else. I got excited when I saw Tom Thibodeau at the rockets practice several weeks ago and was praying they would find some way in picking him up as their defensive coach. I guess we can always dream.

Unfortunately the coaching on this team has been piss poor so far this season. The team is completely discombobulated, but I will have to admit they didn't have much of a preseason because of all the injuries.
