Can someone make a thread about this for me? <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/g4FcNGovnqo&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/g4FcNGovnqo&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> It's great to see the big fella shooting again.
Why make a thread about it though? Just post it in one of the countless Yao threads that we have here.
Great opening post, Nice positive vibe. I think we found another believer. This team should start the season as-is and see how it goes. Let's Roll! If Morey has a opportunity to help a team out by taking some salary off their hands and their assets at the deadline, that'll work too. But I think this group will start the season off strong and get a lot of wins early.
Brooks looks strong himself in this pic on bud's FB acct....he looks like he's been lifting this offseason, let's see if he can keep that on during the year and how it affects him...
Until I see improved defense, I would not prognosticate about the Rockets going deep in the playoffs. I think they're indeed a playoff team, but unless their defense dramatically improves, I see a first round exit. I want the coach to focus on defense this year.
Yeah, I felt towards the end of the last season we were losing our defensive identity. Hopefully that returns with the return of Yao, but I'm not sure that it will....
I agree...the defensive toughness JVG brought to the Rockets must be regained. Couple that with Adelman's flowing offense and the Rockets can beat anyone.
Other teams got better at exploiting our 6'5" center and interior defense. Yao will help. I am not so sure about Miller or Hill as the 2nd and 3rd C, though.
