Watching the Summer League games, all of the teams have the same number font they use on their regular NBA jerseys. The Rockets jersey has a different number font than usually: Last year they had their usual number font: Just an observation...
We are confirmed to get a new cut on our jersey so wouldn't be surprised if a new font came along with that for the numbers, very possible and, yes, other teams use their normal jersey format (font/size/etc).
What does the front look like? I'm guessing it's probably just an issue with the jerseys printed late or incorrectly.
i think i saw other teams with this font. i wouldn't look into it too much. off top i think lakers had the same back.
Nah. The OP is right. Rockets have been confirmed to be using a new number font as compared to the previous one that was used by the Pacers as well. The Rockets will receive new # font, sleeve cut change, an undisclosed alternate #2 change and a yellow sleeved clutch city uniform. Also a new latin nights or xmas uni too. This is all in the new Adidas catalog for 2015-2016 season.
Nope. Lakers have their own font. Look at the number one on the Lakers jersey and the number one on the jersey Cummings is wearing in the first post. It's different.
Would be a nice start. While they're at it, change the God-awful logo too. Les wants to cater to China for money, but he's losing money with his crap merchandise sales. Rockets have a Top 5 player, yet don't have a Top 10 jersey seller. Somebody wake Les up!!!
I know we were supposed to get a change to our numbers. According to the new style guide/adidas catalog we're adding a silver outline to the numbers. But the font looked similar to the one we were already using. It could change tho.
I saw the catalog and he numbers did look like last year. But like you said, maybe it changed. Also, about the silver outline... in the catalog, the "Swingman" jersey looked like the numbers had a silver outline... but the official jersey in the catalog did not have a silver outline. So I'm not sure which to believe.
