This multiplied by 1 billion. Some of these thread police need to just go away.

Yep...That's why I don't want to take a chance. I'd rather work someting out and have Bynum end up here.

Can we add a poll regarding whether this should be its own thread? I would like to vote "yes."

If this trade does not happen i will be highly disappointed. This is the perfect storm. Nobody else wants him, and we have all of these assets lined up. For us to even have a chance at attaining a top 3 player is great.

Take the Risk. Make the trade.

Everyone will be b****ing about how much of a prima Dwight is and how he's such a flip-flopper, but I guarantee you when he becomes a Rocket and averages a double-double per game, everyone will be praising him and hoping for him to stay at seasons end.

This is pretty much the T-Mac saga part deux.... once we become relevant again all hard feeling will be lost and everyone will finally embrace a new (super)star.

I really think it's on. Howard will be a Rocket by Thursday night.

I'd come to terms with Howard walking after one season, by saying that atleast we would have one year of contention.

After losing Dragic, Camby for practically nothing, I am not sure we can field a contender next year, so I am not sold.

    Completely agree.

By the way, I guess CF isn't the only one feeling confident about this?

Still feel Houston is logical landing spot for Dwight. They have everything that Orlando SHOULD want (prospects, picks, expiring contracts)

So why does nobody else want him again?

LOL, I seriously don't think some of these people even know why they're complaining, they just like to b****. Didn't get spanked enough when they were kids, and probably complained that they got the "wrong" presents, when they probably didn't deserve anything at all.

I agree with you, It's a lot easier than skimming through 500 page threads and reading constant sarcastic/immature responses from the kiddies that have joined clutchfans in the past few years. The future of our world, God help us all.

Howard, Scola, and Parsons...thats a pretty nice front court. We'll have to see what the trade would involve, but I think we would be a playoff team for sure. Maybe not elite, but good enough to make some impressions on future free agents.

Too bad he aint staying if he does make his way to the H.

He'll be casper at seasons end....for LESS money!

That how much he DOESN'T wanna be here.

He opted in instead of being traded to the Rox AND becoming a FA!

    That says it all.

I still say We involve the Lakers and send our Package to Orlando, We get Bynum, and Lakers can get Howard. Didn't Bynum list us as one of his choices? Clearly Howard Better but I would rather have someone who wants to be here. Question would be what is left around either of them if they come here.

I think i'd rather keep Martin over scola... He's an expiring anyway. Lamb is younger and potentially better than Martin, but he may be too inexperienced to start on a team that hopes to contend.
