Sign me up. He would make our team that much better defensively...still need another big though.

Something like Daniels and a second for Brewer into the TPE would be awesome. I like Troy but he doesn't have a place on this team.

Brewer would be a great backup wing. You can also play big with Harden at point, Brewer at SG and then Ariza at wing.

Are you sure? He's never shot the 3 over 30% in any year of his career... 28% last year...

Corey Brewer is not worth a top 20 pick.....

He's been overrated last season on defense, still good but not what wolves expected from him

Why is it when any trade rumor is out there you guys think the rockets are gonna give up solid assets to get that player. Capela isn't going anywhere for a while. Motiejunas won't get traded for brewer.

Plus Morey hates player options. Overall none of this makes sense.

This would be an ideal trade scenario.

he'd be an off the bench spark and the much needed length that we need on the wing

Daniels or Johnson & a future second rounder sounds reasonable.

I feel that our biggest need is a backup big. This is certainly interesting. Brewer's contract is about 5 million. He's a fantastic defender on the wing, and we all know how much he loves to run. He's inconsistent from 3 which is troublesome.

Do we go with a Caanan/Terry/Brewer/K-Pap/D-Mo bench squadron?

Is this a move to gather up more salary? He, Terry and K-Pap combine for 15 million dollars, give or take. Would it be possible to redirect down the line this season?

If acquired now he could be combined with other salary before the trade deadline.

The answer you got on twitter is wrong, so I'll answer anyway. :)
The remainder of the TPE can still be used after using one portion of it. In Brewer's case, he would eat $4.7 million of the $8.4 million TPE, reducing that number to about $3.7 million. The Rockets could still absorb a salary up to $3.8 million (TPE + $100,000) without having to match salaries.

lol well I was wrong a bit.. He had 1 year where he shot 34%, but other than that he was a poor 3-point shooter.
