I would much rather have C Bosh over Amare.

So much wrong in such a short article.

    1. We don't know that Yao is out this season yet.
    2. It's very premature to say Yao's career could be over.
    3. Ron Artest is not at a high risk of going elsewhere and is not likely to get offers from other teams that are better than what he gets from the Rockets.
    4. Who isn't interested in Bosh?

except he doesn't really play defense, he is soft and is nowhere near as aggressive offensively as Amare

    Me!
He is disgustingly SOFT! He even does not want to fight in the paint.
I would rather Hayes over him as a C, and Scola over him as PF. With these tough guys, we may loose, but we will loose like a man!
He is just overrated! Look at his team! He did not bring anything to his team.

Hmm. Insightful. A little verbose, but insightful. I like it.

I'd rather have Bosh. He's been better in terms of health (which should be a big deal, obviously), has more distance with his jumpshot, blocks as many shots, is a better rebounder, a better passer (IMO) and couldn't be worse on the defensive end. I think he just fits better in Adelman's offense. Getting him is something else altogether, and we'd still need a center.

Sounds kind of like Kareem without the Sky Hook.

Could we sweeten the pot with our 1st round draft choice or is that illegal since we traded away this year's?

Scola + Battier + cap fodder (Cook) would be a comparable offer.

Yeah, and they have quite a few garbage contracts, some even worse than Cook's... and that's bad!

A Scola/Battier offer is nice, but it doesn't beat out the proposed Ben Gordon/Thomas/Johnson or Lee/Hill package.
